Purple Sapphire and Tanzanite Showstopper
This extraordinary 'Showstopper!' features a beautifully tinted Purple Sapphire, combined with the radiant tones of natural Tanzanite. The 1.2ct Purple Sapphire is an unusually proportioned cushion-cut, measuring approximately 7.3 x 5.3mm. The Tanzanite are each 4.75mm diameter, weighing 0.95ct total, with two additional paler toned, trillion cut Tanzanite completing the design.
The feature Sapphire has the ability to change colour depending on the light source, appearing as a stunning Ceylon blue in daylight and a rich purple when viewed under electric lighting - very hard to capture in a photograph so this ring really does need to be viewed in person!
The ring is made from 18ct Yellow gold throughout, and the band is 5mm wide, tapering at the back for a really comfortable fit. The settings sit a maximum of 4mm from the top of the band, and there are two triangular pillars in addition to the settings to balance the design.
