Teeny Bi-colour Sapphire Showstopper
This may be the smallest ‘Showstopper!’ to date, but it’s certainly not lacking in it’s uniqueness…
The central octagon cut, bi-colour Sapphire is just 5mm x 3.1mm and weighs 0.45 carats. It displays beautiful banding of delicate pinks and greens, enhanced by the placement of a soft green and pink Sapphire either side (each measuring 3mm diameter).
The ring is solid 9ct Yellow Gold and it’s simple design sits neatly on a narrow 2.5mm wide band. The settings are proud of the band by a maximum of 4mm and it would sit very well against a plain or eternity style band, making a wonderfully delicate engagement ring perhaps.
Due to the uniqueness of bi-coloured Sapphires, this ring is a one-off and has now been sold, but other exciting gems displaying this phenomenon can be sourced to commission should you wish to have something similar made to your own ring size.
